Ever tried to present your research… without actually presenting it?

Had to explain your PhD to your grandma, a flatmate, or that one friend who thinks you study “politics or something”?

This year’s Graduate Forum workshop is all about that: developing soft skills and finding playful, creative ways to connect your research with different audiences.

It’s a non-traditional panel where PhD candidates and ECRs get 5 minutes MAX to showcase their work (UACES paper, thesis, side project…) using anything but the usual conference format.

- Want to pitch your thesis as if you’re talking to a CEO in an elevator?

- ⁠Turn your research into a comic?

- ⁠Read us the haikus about your literature review  you wrote at 3 a.m.?

 All formats are welcome.

 It’s informal, it’s the last panel of the day, and it flows straight into the drinks reception.
