Session Abstract
Beginning with anticipation of global trends and analysis of gaps in legislation, the European Parliament's research services provide members and committees with support throughout all stages of the policy cycle including research and information on any EU policy area or legislative dossier before it is proposed, during negotiation and after adoption, and scrutiny before and after adoption. This talk describes the support provided in-house and with external expertise, and engagement with citizens and students.
