The journey to a successful career in academia can be both challenging and rewarding, particularly in the diverse field of European Studies. This interactive workshop session run by the UACES Graduate Forum brings together established and emerging academics in an informal and relaxed setting to discuss building an academic career. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn from the experiences of established academics, who will share their knowledge on topics such as publishing, funding applications, networking and collaboration, impact, or other topics related to academic careers. If you are an MA student, a PhD or Early-Career Researcher, this session will help you to chart your next steps.
