Kicking off the main SMEC 2026 conference, this evening event is a supportive, open setting for students to present their ideas and receive constructive feedback with a selection of 10 minute presentations followed by 5 minutes Q&A.
Attendance at the pre-conference is free for all – students, professional staff, and academics. Please note that registration for this evening event does not include registration for the full SMEC 2026 conference on Thursday and Friday
