Plenary 1: Tools of the Trade - Overview of Technical Workshops for Sustainability, LCA, and Industrial Ecology Analysis

This plenary session will feature brief presentations from the organizers of the Technical Workshops occuring Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Speakers include Lise Laurin of EarthShift Global, Catherine Birney of Easter Research Group, Ben Young of Eastern Research Group, and Brandon Kuczenski of University of California-Santa Barbara

Session Abstract

This plenary session will feature brief presentations from the organizers the Technical Workshops occuring Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. The speakers for this session will introduce the primary topic/tool of their workshops, provide illustrative examples of how the tools can be used, and provide a general overview of the aims of their technical workshops.

Topics to be discussed include:

Sustainable Return on Investment (led by Lise Laurin)

U.S. EPA's Tools for Industrial Ecology Modeling (led by Ben Young and Catherine Birney)

Antelope - an open source tool for LCA benchmarking and analysis (led by Brandon Kuczenski)
