Session Abstract
The workshop introduces basic optimization and constraint-based methods in metabolic engineering and the development of large-scale kinetic models with a view to integrate strain and process design. The workshop extends with an introduction to digital twins for bioreactors and the demonstration of physics-informed neural networks in process development and control applications.
