Session Abstract

This panel explores the transformative potential of digital technologies in public employment services (PES) across Asia and Europe, focusing on strategies to improve governance efficiency and service accessibility. As labor markets evolve rapidly, PES must leverage data-driven tools, AI, and interoperable platforms to streamline processes, personalize support, and bridge gaps for vulnerable groups. Experts from government, academia, and international organizations will share case studies on successful digital integration—such as automated job matching, upskilling portals, and predictive analytics—while addressing challenges like digital divides, ethical AI use, and institutional adaptability. Discussions will highlight cross-border collaboration, policy frameworks, and user-centered design to ensure equitable outcomes. The session aims to foster actionable insights for building resilient, inclusive, and future-ready employment ecosystems.
